This recognition is a reflection of my attempt, as Founder of the MathsThroughStories.org initiative, to influence teacher educators at other universities to incorporate the Maths Through Stories training workshop as part of their teacher training programme, as well as my attempt, as Chair of the Institute of Education's Teaching and Learning Group on Assessment Literacy, to encourage lecturers at various departments across the University to ascertain their students' understanding level of their assessment rubrics and to use such data to explore ways to increase the clarity of those rubrics."
