At the age of 24, Dr. Trakulphadetkrai established a non-profit initiative, called the Global Student Education Forum (GSEF) in 2008, while pursuing his doctoral research at the University of Cambridge. The Forum had over one thousand on-line members from around the world.
Its ultimate goal was to provide, via its website (www.gseforum.org), an online platform where people who are passionate in the field of Education globally can engage in meaningful discussion and debate on education theories, policies and practices.
The Forum also gave its members opportunities to meet with leading educationists and policy makers at home and abroad through a series of high-profile speaker events. To achieve its equal access ethos, videos of all our speaker events are uploaded and made accessible, free of charge, on the Forum's website to education-focussed students, researchers and practitioners globally.
Over the four years of its existence, the Forum attracted world-renowned education researchers, ministers of Educations, Education faculty deans, chief executive of education charities, and ambassadors, among other distinguished figures in the field of education to share their visions of (and, more importantly, their passions for) educational improvement and equality.
Whilst the GSEF website (www.gseforum.org) is long gone, some photos and videos can still be found on its Twitter page.
Below are a few selected photos of Dr. Trakulphadetkrai with some of his invited speakers.
